The CRF1100 Africa Twin\'s 1,084 cc parallel-twin engine pulls hard from 2,500 rpm all the way to the redline. A 270-degree phased crankshaft and uneven firing interval give a distinctive sound and feel while helping to produce strong, linear power and instant response anywhere in the rev range.

• Choose Your Transmission

The Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES is available with either a robust six-speed manual gearbox or an advanced, automatic shifting, six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). DCT features four automatic modes that adjust the shift patterns to match your riding style or the conditions, and a manual mode that allows you to shift gears with triggers on the left handlebar. These triggers can also be used to override the automatic modes gear selection at any time.

The strength and rigidity balance of the steel semi-double-cradle frame helps to boost off-road ability while also reinforcing all-round on-road manners.
